Ice Hockey 2014 World Championship

2014 IIHF Mens ice hockey world championship is one of the most exciting ice hockey event of the 2014. It will be held in Belarus.The big teams such as United States, Canada, Sweden, Finland, Russia all are looking for the gold medal.The event will begin on 09 May with a big match between France and Canada. All the matches of this tournament will be played on two venues in Belarus.

Group Stage Matches will start on May 9 and end on May 20. The teams who will participate in the IIHF Mens Hockey championship has passed the qualifying round. Although there is two groups, each group consists of eight teams and Group B will be danger zone as here big teams will play.

Take a look at the competition in the past. Sweden won the Godl Medal match last year and become World ice hockey champion. Although US Mens hockey team played very well the failed to reach the top position and gained 3rd place. Finland failed perform in their homeground.
